I’m a multidisciplinary theater artist and creative producer with roots in the DC-area theater community. My work spans dramaturgy, directing, devised performance, community engagement, and program facilitation. I am deeply committed to centering processes around care, curiosity, and joyful collaboration. As a recipient of the NNPN Producer in Residence Fellowship, I gained hands-on experience in producing new work, supporting artistic development, and shaping systems that keep artists at the center. I currently lead Theatre Washington’s Mentorship Program, where I design and facilitate opportunities for connection and shared learning between emerging and established DC-area theater makers. I’m especially passionate about new play development, ensemble-driven work, and building structures that make creative life more sustainable for artists and audiences. Whether I’m curating community conversations, designing program logistics, or facilitating dialogue and hands-on learning, I bring a cheerful disposition and a dramaturg’s eye. I believe that creativity is a human right. I am committed to deeply investigating and adapting systems to support this right as a part of my dedication civic care. I led a seven-week devised theater course at Arena Stage, collaborating with the Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP)—a nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans, service members, military families, and caregivers thrive through the arts. In this class, participants explore their personal narratives through movement, voice, and storytelling techniques, culminating in an original performance that reflects their unique experiences and creativity. The course emphasizes expression, connection, and confidence-building within a supportive community. I also taught an immersive script-reading course centered on the stage adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time, guiding participants through in-depth exploration of the play’s structure, themes, and character development. I facilitated discussions on adaptation choices from page to stage, offering a behind-the-scenes look at Arena Stage’s production while encouraging collaborative analysis and theatrical literacy in a discussion-based environment.
As Mentor Program Lead for Theatre Washington, I oversee the annual Mentorship Program that connects emerging and established theatre professionals across the DC region. I manage all aspects of the program from recruiting and matching mentors and mentees to facilitating regular check-ins and collecting feedback for continual growth. In addition to supporting one-on-one mentorship, I coordinate program-wide events and professional development workshops designed to foster connection, spark dialogue, and strengthen the DC-area theatre community through shared learning and collaboration.
