Global responsibility for direct materials sourcing strategy and supply base for Philips Consumer Lifestyle. The supply base for Philips consumer products include suppliers of eletronics and SW, mechanicals, and finished goods (EMS, CMS, ODM, & OEM).
Developed & deployed a Sustaining Sourcing Initiative with one of Philips' businesses. The initiative within the procurement organization consisted of leading the procurement team through supplier classification (strategic vs non-strategic suppliers), defining technology capability needs across all of the categories, consolidating & cross checking those needs with strategic suppliers' capabilities, summarizing incremental savings opportunities and defining business cases for each of these opportunities.
Responsible for the strategic sourcing of electronics for GE Healthcare globally, including selection and development of suppliers of electronic components, electronic manufacturing services, proprietary electronics, CT and Xray Detectors, and Ultrasound Probes. Her extended team takes care of commercial negotiations, with a focus on quality, fulfillment, and deflation together with GE's electronics tier 1 & tier 2 suppliers. The Electronics Sourcing Organization works collaboratively with Engineering, Materials, and Product Teams within GE Healthcare. Furthermore, Alison leads a GE-wide Electronics Commodity Synergy Team which focuses on strategy, simplification, and leverage across the GE businesses as it relates to the Electronics Supply Base.
