Change and cultural transformation is my background. Advisor, consultant, and networker to all departments which span across the business. I was hired as the Events Manager of Ireland's first ever startup week. A platform to support and celebrate entrepreneurs with an estimated 20,000 attendees and over 400 events nationwide. My role evolved throughout the project and merged into the role of Operations Manager. Here I was involved in the conception and strategic development of Startup Ireland as well as the development and execution of project plan and critical path. On the event management side of things my responsibilities involved coordinating 5 conferences over 5 days in 5 cities with over 160 speakers. I was the main point of contact and coordinator of over 400 individually hosted events nationwide. We ran many events in the lead up to October where Ministers Nash and Bruton and key decision makers in Ireland such as Ibec, IDA, Google and Enterprise Ireland attended. I also had the opportunity to be Ambassador and media representative for Startup Ireland at events within the entrepreneurial community. This experience has highlighted my passion for startups and the importance of promoting entrepreneurship. I now enjoy advising startups and I hope to remain involved in the startup community. web: https://www.startupgathering.ie/about http://startupireland.ie/ twitter: @startupireland
Assistant to the Associate Director of Nursing, Cancer Care & Respiratory Services. As well as administrative duties, my role as PA included the implementation of new procedures to improve the organisation of our department through various projects such as space optimisation and quality, which improved waiting times for patients within the Oncology Service. I played a central role as main point of contact in the department ensuring flow of communication of critical information. I was also responsible for organising nursing retreats and functions for the management team. A very fulfilling and challenging role in a fast paced environment.
