About

I am a Biomedical Engineer recently graduated from the University of Glasgow, currently studying for a PhD in neuroscience. I am a conscientious, hard-working, enthusiastic individual and can work in a team or alone with minimal supervision. I am able to learn new skills efficiently and I am a methodical, well-organised person. I have thoroughly enjoyed the University degree course, particularly 3rd to 5th year, which built on general engineering knowledge gained in 1st and 2nd year and applied them to Biomedical Engineering. I received an Engineering Excellence Award for my high performance in 3rd Year. In addition to traditional taught courses, during the final year, engineering students are given the opportunity to travel and complete a one semester project away from the university. I completed my project in Reykjavik, Iceland in the subject area EEG. I thoroughly enjoyed the project and decided to develop my career within this research area.
