Alishba Awais is a medical student with a strong interest in medical research, cardiology, surgery, and orthoplastics. Alongside her studies, she works as a GCSE science tutor, helping first-year students reinforce and review the content they’ve already learned through Peer Connect at the University of Buckingham. She’s also part of the Med Mentor Link, a mentorship program within the university's general medical society, where she guides and supports students throughout their medical school journey. Alishba is passionate about contributing to her academic community, sharing knowledge, and helping others succeed. Outside of her studies and mentoring, she engages in research and seeks opportunities for personal and academic growth.

My role focuses on teaching core pre-clinical concepts that underpin clinical medicine, ensuring content is accessible and easy to understand. I work closely with an AtoZmed Teaching Fellow to maintain accuracy and appropriate depth, and also contribute to live or recorded teaching sessions shared across the AtoZmed community.
