Alisdair Macaulay Commercial Director Alisdair was the first non family member office based employee that Eic employed. He joined as a Project Manager but his drive and determination ensured that he progressed quickly to Senior Project Manager& Engineering Director in 1988. From 1991 to 1994 Alisdair filled the role of Contracts Director and from 1994 to present day holds the position of Group Commercial Director playing a crucial role in leading the commercial functions, overseeing pre and post tender risk analysis, contract documentation and managing risk and legal implications. In his capacity of Commercial Director Alisdair has been in the past been responsible for managing a central team of Mechanical and Electrical Estimators including the assessment and settlement of all Tenders, negotiating and liaising with potential clients and suppliers. He has also held the responsibility of Procurement Director managing Eic’s Supplier and Sub Contractor supply chain. Working in a variety of sectors including Commercial, Leisure, Retail, Health and Education Alisdair sits on the Operational Board and is an active member inputting into the driving the development of corporate strategy and contributes to the development of a culture of continuous improvement in meeting the financial and performance targets of the business.
