As CTO and Co-Founder at Cyber Monks, I drive the strategic direction and implementation of advanced technologies for a pioneering cybersecurity firm. My role encompasses leading the product and platform roadmap, ensuring compliance, and managing multidisciplinary teams across support, project delivery, development, testing, and AI research. Leveraging deep expertise in generative AI, software development, solution architecture, and cloud applications, I spearhead the creation of secure, scalable solutions that propel company growth and market differentiation. In partnership with Mastercard, I champion the development and delivery of SME-focused cybersecurity offerings via our innovative Cyber Marketplace.
As CTO at SecuVal, I led the development and delivery of fully managed cybersecurity services designed to strengthen organizations’ digital resilience. Our approach mirrored that of potential threat actors, allowing us to anticipate vulnerabilities and collaboratively build robust, proactive defenses with our clients. I oversaw all aspects of service delivery, technical strategy, and roadmap execution, ensuring seamless integration of AI and machine learning across operations. Working in a start-up environment, I built scalable processes that balanced innovation, agility, and reliability—driving measurable improvements in cyber resilience for our customers.
As Lead Information Security Auditor at LRQA, I was responsible for conducting accredited certification audits for LRQA clients across multiple standards, including ISO 27001, ISO 9001, NEN 7510, and ISO 27701. In this role, I assessed organizations’ compliance with international and national frameworks, certifying them according to LRQA’s accreditation requirements. My work combined deep expertise in cybersecurity, compliance, and third-party risk, ensuring that clients not only met regulatory benchmarks but also strengthened their overall information security and governance maturity.
As Co-Founder of Zettastor, I contributed to establishing and growing the company from 2011 onwards, with an initial focus on technical consulting and architecting solutions using enterprise storage technologies such as Commvault, Dell-EMC, Huawei, Nimble Storage, Quantum, HDS, and Tintri. In 2016, I took on the role of Manager Services, overseeing Zettastor’s full range of services. From January 2017, my responsibilities were further expanded to include Inside Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Back Office. I developed and implemented processes aimed at streamlining the business cycle—from lead generation through order processing to service delivery—enhancing both customer experience and professional standards within the company. Remaining engaged with technology, I directed Zettastor’s product offering and roadmap to ensure continued innovation and market relevance.
