- Worked with advisor to teach students of various ages about the polar climate and long-term effects of global warming - Created educational resources regarding polar ecosystems and spoke about science at community outreach events - Communicated on environmental systems and climate change in Piermont with locals and CityTech students - Created educational outreach products to teach international students on the polar regions
-Polar Climate Ambassadors is an education initiative launched for H.S. students who are passionate about climate change to advocate and broaden public understanding of the polar regions - Consisted of building polar literacy, and developing a deeper understanding of climate systems, career pathways and science communication -Published “Talking to a Scientist: Raising Awareness on Important Topics in Polar Science” and compiled scientist interviews into educational videos
- M3C is a summer program aimed to attract capable H.S. students to careers in math and science. The mathematical modeling process used real-world problems from the physical, natural and environmental science -Received classroom instruction and participated in hands-on activities in computer and science laboratories with supplemental visits to research centers and museums -Research Presentation Topic: Can Mathematics help in determining the safe and effective dosage of a medical drug and the frequency of its administration? -Presented research at the M3C banquet and won 1st place for both the oral and poster presentations
