Hi and welcome! I'm Aliisa–your friendly neighbourhood media nerd, jack of all trades, and master of arts! I have recently graduated with a Master’s degree in English Philology, with minors in International Business Communication, Japanese, Cultural Anthropology, and Communications. My academic focus centered on the intersection of language, media, and contemporary culture. Alongside my studies, I gained hands-on experience in service design, translation, intercultural communication, and marketing through coursework and collaborative projects. These experiences have strengthened my ability to apply academic concepts in practical, real-world contexts. I’m currently continuing to expand my skill set, with a particular focus on technical writing, photography, and Python programming. I'm often described as a people-curious chameleon, who adapts quickly to diverse environments. Through my experience in customer service and as museum assistant, I've developed strong skills in intercultural communication, creative problem-solving and effective time management. While I thrive in team settings and collaborative environments, my experience with remote education has also made me highly self-motivated and independent. Having recently completed my academic journey, I'm eager to discover new fields and build my skills in areas such as service design, technical writing, and marketing. I'm excited to contribute to organisations that value innovative, cross-cultural communication.
