Traveling the world with my husband for 9 months while he's on his work sabbatical. General itinerary: Africa for Oct, Japan for Nov, South America/ Antarctica for Dec & Jan, Southeast Asia for Feb, Middle East for March, East Asia for April, and Europe for May and June! I also became a travel agent at Fora to take advantage of the commission structure when booking my own lodging and travel and have built a book of sizeable business during this period as well.
As part of the executive leadership team, I'm responsible for company-wide recruiting including hiring for tech, mortgage servicing, and C-suite talent acquisition. I also oversee recruiting operations and partner closely with the Head of People and Interim Head of People during my tenure.
As the first People hire, I was responsible for building out and owning the recruiting, HR, and workplace experience teams.
