We are building a network of like-minded businesses to bring about a more sustainable and socially responsible way of doing business. My job is about finding kindred spirits, inspiring change through common projects and sharing best practices. It all started with the vision of changing the system, back in 2013, when Fairantwortung was founded with the mission for entrepreneurs and companies to take a more active role and responsibility in the future coexistence of humans and nature. This idea still resonates with me today: companies, thru their agility, can elicit change faster than politics. Especially in terms of climate action, product life cycle, circular economy, designing new technologies, saving resources, changing mind-sets, inspiring their employees and their customers or consumers. Considering current events, businesses need to position themselves for the future. Our markets are changing, old technologies are being replaced by new innovations. Skilled employees in Germany, in high demand but far afield, are looking for more purpose in what they do and who they work for. This means the future is about moving away from the classically extrinsic motivation of CSR in companies to making sustainability and social impact part of a company's DNA, an intrinsic motivation which permeates all areas of business and is at the core of the product they offer. Helping companies transition through this required change and giving those already living this dream a voice is at the core of what we seek to provide and achieve with our non-profit organisation Fairantwortung gAG. We are building a business ecosystem of sustainability, an alliance of those on the path to a sustainable future and those just setting out on the journey. We have companies on board who already live and breathe the idea of social and sustainable impact in everything they do. They inspire others, their business models work. It’s the interaction in our network which empowers us to move beyond what is required to a state of creative design of our common future. We not only share best practices in our network, we also initiate projects that make a difference. One such example is our project “trinkfair-Wasser aus dem Hahn!” which is a climate action campaign about drinking tap water and thus saving plastic waste and C02. Bundesweite Skalierung von MINT-AGs | Bildungskooperationen, Rollout & Netzwerkentwicklung Als Senior Program Managerin technika verantworte ich die bundesweite Skalierung des Bildungskonzepts und Angebots von technika | Karlsruher Technik-Initiative des CyberForum e.V. Im Mittelpunkt steht der Aufbau tragfähiger Strukturen, damit wöchentliche MINT-AGs an Lernorten wie Grund-, weiterführenden und Berufsschulen nachhaltig umgesetzt werden können. Mein Fokus liegt auf strategischen Schul-, Bildungs- und Netzwerkpartnerschaften, der Partnergewinnung, der Rollout-Steuerung sowie der Qualitätssicherung. Ziel ist es, praxisnahe Technik- und Informatikbildung skalierbar zugänglich zu machen und technika langfristig in der Bildungslandschaft zu verankern.
VERANTWORTUNGSVOLLES UNTERNEHMERTUM Als Entscheider und Macher sitzen Unternehmer lieber im Pilotensitz und fahren nicht gerne als Passagier mit. Das denken wir uns auch wenn es um nachhaltiges Wirthschaften geht. Warum auf andere warten die Entscheidungen über unsere Zukunft in die Hand zu nehmen? Packen wir es lieber selbst an. Fairantwortung ist eine gemeinnützige Unternehmerinitiative, die als Ideengeber und Mitmachgemeinschaft das Ziel verfolgt, zu sensibilisieren und Alternativen aufzuzeigen, um ein positiver Katalysator für ein nachhaltigeres Wirtschaftssystem zu sein. Dazu orientierten wir uns an den 17 Zielen nachhaltiger Entwicklung (SDGs) der Vereinten Nationen und zeigen mit konkreten Projekten, dass Ökonomie und Ökologie nicht im Widerspruch zueinanderstehen, sondern ein „fairantwortliches“ Miteinander von Mensch und Natur möglich ist.
