ATM & Banking Systems Software Engineer - Emirates NBD ATM Application Project Software Engineer - Denizbank ATM Application Software Engineer I work on ATM and banking switch systems, focusing on the development of secure, high-volume financial transactions, fraud prevention mechanisms, and ATM hardware integrations in production banking environments. My experience includes the development of cash withdrawal, cash deposit, cash recycling (CDM-only, Recycler, Two-Tower), credit and loan payments, precious metals (gold) buy & sell, DCC, and QR-based / push (cardless) ATM transactions. I have strong hands-on experience with ISO 8583 message processing, BKM-compliant commission and transaction logic, and On-Us / Not-On-Us / Domestic / Non-Domestic transaction flows. I actively worked on online and offline fraud scenarios, suspicious transaction detection, and transaction-level cancel / retry mechanisms. On the hardware side, I worked with SIMAX (XFS) and resolved model-specific issues on NCR, Diebold Nixdorf, GRG, and Hyosung ATMs, including reject / purge cassette and recycling scenarios. I also contributed to EOD processes, cash replenishment (ikmal) flows with Bantaş, reconciliation, BKM reporting, and Mastercard / Visa–compliant developments. I developed dynamic ATM menus and UI flows using WPF and HTML, focusing on customer experience and operational efficiency.
Debit Card & Card Management Systems I have hands-on experience in debit card systems, covering the full card lifecycle from card production and personalization to authorization and fraud control. I worked on card issuance, BIN / 8-digit migration, pre-authorization (on-us and off-us) processes, and switch–HSM integrations. I developed and maintained ISO 8583–based transaction flows, including TLV / LTV formatted data, in compliance with BKM requirements and Visa / Mastercard documentation. My responsibilities included integrations for POS transactions, card printing and personalization systems, and transaction-level fraud controls. I collaborated closely with fraud, IVR, call center, mobile banking, courier, and card printing teams, ensuring end-to-end coordination across card issuance, delivery, activation, and customer support processes. I also contributed to system integrations and operational flows to ensure regulatory compliance, security, and smooth customer experience across multiple banking channels.
