Project engineering at system level for powertrain systems, transmission, driveablity, automatic transmisaion calibration and shiftability Responsibilities, -Supplier management -Project time&budget management -Developing problem solving methods -Leading problem solving process Completed projects: - Automated Manual Transmission application on Heavy commercial trucks (Including gear shift scheduling and testing) - CAN communication of AMT shifter - Shift quality improvement for manual transmission (Six sigma black belt project) - Driveline retarder application for heavy commercial trucks - Speed and gear limitation for tipper trucks (patented) - Principal layout design for heavy duty truck transmission (principal positioning of shafts, oil pumps, PTO, layshaft brake etc) - Gearshift mechanism design fro manual transmission - Test and validation for new transmission development (including duty cycle) - Brand DNA study for manual transmission gear shift quality - Ecoroll/rolling function optimization for heavy duty trucks (AMT) Key activities: • Managing coordination with product development, finance, purchase and manufacturing departments to be able to engage the project at the appointed time • Responsible of reporting the status, timing plan and risks of the project periodically to senior management • Manage cost, quality and functional content alignment with overall program objectives • Prepare prospective studies, project proposals and technical analysis reports as being responsible of products of project • Organize the inside and outside meetings with global and local suppliers • testing and onsite production line support during the vehicle sign-off process
