I’m an engineer at heart, and a builder by vocation. I solve problems, I create structures, and I try to focus on challenges that are worth solving. I studied civil engineering at UPM, and economics and finance at HEC Paris before spending several years in investment banking and international finance (Goldman Sachs, Rothschild & Co, CA-CIB, World Bank). Rather than continue down that path, I chose to apply the skills, discipline and strategic thinking I developed there to a different kind of challenge: building companies from scratch, shaping ideas into structures that can endure. Hecary is one of those projects: A wellness company for men who want to live better, longer, and with more intention. We started with skincare, but the vision goes further: long-term health, performance, and vitality, built patiently through habits — not hacks. Over time, I came to realize —through my own experience— that health isn’t just one pillar of life: it’s the foundation everything else depends on. Years of working under intense pressure, while neglecting key habits, showed me the compounding effect that small daily choices have — for better or worse. I’m still learning every day how to build better habits for myself, and through Hecary, I want to help others with demanding lives do the same. I've also been fortunate to invest in early-stage startups and to learn from extraordinary founders along the way, experiences that only strengthened my conviction to build something of my own. Teaching and mentorship have also been an important part of my journey. I’ve had the privilege to lecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), helping young engineers navigate the intersection of business, finance and strategy. That’s the kind of work — and the kind of life — I want to keep building: patiently, consciously, and with others who share the same drive.
