Experience

  • Founder, Party is over at Party is over
    Sep 2025 - Present · 11 mos

After several years freelancing in cultural event management, I co‑founded Party is over to build projects that sit at the intersection of cultural formats. Our first production was a touring theatrical performance with author and journalist Mikhail Zygar to support his book The Dark Side of Earth. We produced the tour from scratch: 6 countries, 7 cities, 1,500 attendees over two weeks. Each performance featured a local guest performer; every venue and ticket sale was coordinated remotely and we were on site only on show days. I handled tour logistics, financial planning, and production in close collaboration with the author, with no prior marketing assets to rely on. Results: 500+ books sold, partnerships with local cultural initiatives in each city to cross‑promote events, and two private premium lectures that generated additional revenue for the tour.

  • Lifecycle Marketing Intern at Bynder
    Jun 2025 - Jan 2026 · 8 mos

During my internship at Bynder, I worked across lifecycle strategy, marketing operations, and data‑driven communication to support global email programs in EMEA, APAC, and the US. My work focused on improving engagement, stabilizing processes, and building scalable foundations for the lifecycle marketing function. Core responsibilities and skills developed: • End‑to‑end email journey development in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including welcome nurtures, onboarding flows, and post‑event programs. • Global campaign execution for key newsletters (Product Release Newsletter, Customer Spotlight, Prospect Newsletter), coordinating with Product, PMM, and regional teams. • Technical troubleshooting and platform mastery, resolving issues in HTML rendering, data extension logic, UTM tracking, and audience targeting. • Data analysis and reporting, building Salesforce dashboards and identifying engagement trends, drop‑off points, and persona‑level insights. • Process optimization and consolidation of fragmented documentation into a unified Confluence knowledge base. • Experimentation and testing, contributing to A/B test design, content structure improvements, and early-stage persona‑based content frameworks. • Strategic tool development, including a customer maturity questionnaire, an ROI value calculator, and requirements for persona‑based engagement dashboards. Selected contributions: • Improved the reliability and consistency of global newsletter delivery through template consolidation and technical QA. • Built the foundation for a lifecycle “machine” model with clearer governance, standardized workflows, and improved documentation. • Supported the transition toward more data‑driven lifecycle marketing through dashboarding, segmentation analysis, and attribution planning. Across seven months, I gained hands‑on experience in CRM operations, lifecycle strategy, marketing automation, analytics, and cross‑functional project management.

  • Freelance Event Manager at Freelance
    Jun 2024 - Dec 2025 · 1 yr 7 mos

I collaborate with cultural agencies such as Localie NL, Fat Events, Somewhere Show, and Vidim Books to bring theatre performances, concerts, lectures, and other cultural events to life. My role varies by project but includes: • Coordinating teams of 2 to 15 staff members to ensure seamless on-site operations. • Securing and negotiating venues while aligning with budget and event requirements, successfully booking spaces for as little as €150 per half-day. • Handling speaker and artist relations, overseeing contract negotiations and program curation for both one-time events and tours spanning 10+ cities. • Organizing merchandise sales, generating €2,000–€3,000 in revenue per event. • Sourcing and renting equipment and furniture, optimizing expenses (e.g., securing a beamer rental for €100 instead of €1,000 per day). • Writing promotional materials for channels reaching 2,000 to 6,000 people, ensuring engagement and visibility. • Assessing event feasibility based on market trends, audience demand, and seasonality. Vidim Fest — a cultural book festival I organized with a team of Vidim Books that attracted 2,000+ visitors in 2 days, sold 3,000+ books, and featured 30+ internationally known actors, directors, journalists, and writers as speakers. The festival combined curated programming, marketplace logistics, and cross‑promotion with local cultural partners to maximize reach and sales. I've worked on events ranging from intimate 30-person film screenings and lectures (featuring Viktor Shenderovich, Andrey Aksenov, Anatoliy Beliy, Linor Goralik, etc.) to large-scale concerts and theatre performances with up to 1,500 attendees (SOSO Daughters, 5'NIZZA, etc.). I know how to coordinate events of varying complexity, handle unforeseen situations as they arise, and quickly adapt to new conditions, ensuring customer satisfaction not only with the content but also with the overall experience, context.

  • Teacher of Additional Education at Gymnasium №1 Amsterdam
    Sep 2023 - Dec 2025 · 2 yrs 4 mos

I design and implement creative educational programs to support Russian language development among bilingual children, tailoring lessons to different age groups: • 10-11-year-olds: Developed a storytelling course that explores the relationship between visuals and narrative. Students build a creative portfolio through formats like comics, collages, cartoons, illustrated anecdotes, and memes. • 6-8-year-olds: Created a curriculum to enhance writing, reading, and speaking skills. Introduced fundamental literary tools (synonyms, antonyms, similes, metaphors, etc.) through engaging activities such as debates, discussions, creative writing, presentations, and small competitions adapted to their comprehension level. • 4-5-year-olds: Designed a Russian alphabet learning program specifically for bilingual children. Developed interactive exercises to strengthen speaking, reading, and writing skills—while also mastering the fine art of keeping their attention, resolving spontaneous conflicts, and building patience (both theirs and mine). I’ve conducted over 200 lessons and developed 5 distinct programs for various age groups. I know how to analyze and meet the needs of pupils—the most discerning audience. Children are the most honest and direct customers—they'll let you know instantly if something doesn’t captivate them, and their attention is easily lost without engaging materials. I’m skilled at adapting my teaching strategies on the fly, ensuring that students remain excited and engaged with new lessons and activities. I can translate my ideas into various formats and mediums, connecting with students in ways that resonate with them. Teaching has not only refined my skills in the educational sector but also provided valuable insights into marketing and project management, making it a highly practical form of professional development.
