As Product Manager Cybersecurity I was responsible for the (international) success of AET's digital security products. Through market- and competitive analysis, customer interviews and product feedback I ensured the products remained relevant and in line with current and future market wishes, both within and outside of Europe.     SYCOMM started out as a joint venture of AET Europe in May 2014. I was the company's first hire and helped out creating the company, focusing primarily on marketing, business development and recruitment. The start-up character of SYCOMM ensured I was able to perform a variety of tasks, among of which creating a Cybersecurity roadshow, setting up a three day course on BlueX, the eID Management system of AET, creating the website and doing product demonstrations. In the end, the decision was made to incorporate SYCOMM into AET where, after a short 'break' (assignment on the island of Curacao), I started in the role of BlueX Product Manager.
