About

In late 2018, my wife, Elena, and I decided that the mountains and deserts of the west were calling us home, and Arizona was where we wanted to put down roots for our growing family. I currently work as the Senior Vice President for our Internal Operations at Corbins in Phoenix, although getting to this point has been quite the journey. It became clear while completing my bachelor’s degree in building construction management at Purdue University, that I wanted to focus my attention to the electrical side of construction. Throughout my college career, I had a few internship opportunities where I got exposure to the process and approach to electrical estimating, as well as the operational side of the business. Upon graduating in 2010, I was hired on as a Project Engineer at Royal Electric by Justin Martin & Randy Sondreal. At Royal I had the opportunity to work on airfields up and down the west coast and assisted in the execution of multiple projects from estimation to completion. After about 2 years, I sought an opportunity that required less travel and went to work as a Project Engineer at Corbins. At Corbins, I broadened my knowledge further, working as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, and then Market Manager. Although I loved the people and company culture at Corbins, in June of 2016 my wife and I decided to relocate back to our home-state of Indiana to raise our kids closer to family. It was during this time I got experience working for a general contractor as an Operations Manager (and later, Preconstruction Manager) for both residential & commercial projects. In addition, Elena and I formed a business called Development Design, LLC, and our company invented the Quik-Can. The Quik-Can is a reusable concrete form that allows airport base cans to be precast upside down. We designed these according to FAA specifications and they are used throughout the US. It only took spending two winters back in Indiana before we realized how much we missed the warmer climate and lifestyle Phoenix offered. We relocated once more to Phoenix in November of 2018, and I went back to work for Corbins as a Project Manager, where I have worked my way over the next 5 years into my current position as Senior Vice President of Operations. In addition to working at Corbins, I am actively involved with the Arizona Building Alliance (ABA), Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV), and time spent with my incredible wife, raising our young kids.
