Hailing from River Rouge, Michigan, Alex R. Hill II graduated from Consortium College Prep High School as my Class of 2010 Valedictorian. A proud HBCU alum, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a Public Relations concentration from Howard University. Alex started his professional career at Miles Ahead Entertainment Inc. focusing on public relations, special events production, and broadcast. At Miles Ahead, he had the honor of working with clients such as Essence Festival, En Vogue, Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture, Kirk Whalum, Ford Motor Company, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Verizon, McDonald’s, My Black Is Beautiful, Hyundai Motor America and Toyota USA to name a few. Later, Alex launched my own company, Humble Hill PR, representing some dynamic clients including Emmy Award-winning host Loni Love, Grammy-nominated hip hop artist Yo-Yo, award-winning celebrity choreographer Anthony Burrell and the #nationally syndicated radio show for women of color Café Mocha. His professional work experience also includes roles with AARP (Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), Deloitte Consulting LLP (Federal Human Capital) and CBS 62/CW50 (Community Affairs). At 29 years old, Alex has been named one of HuffPost Top 25 African American PR Millennials to Watch, Ofield Dukes Excellence in Public Relations Inaugural Honoree and featured in BOSSIP for National Publicist Day.
