Prepare 2023 annual sea turtle nesting data to a written technical report presented to the Miami-Dade Sea Turtle Conservation Program leadership.
Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnostics for ocean mooring sensors. Additionally, design and fabricate 3d models for enhancing scientific operations.
I prepared and conducted my own scientific research that provided insight to an ongoing concern the Marine & Coastal Ecosystem Science Lab had. This position required several days of field work (i.e., preparation of but not limited to underwater video data, CTD Probe, Multi-Exciter Probe, Ekman Grab Sampling, etc.).
Primarily assisted graduate students in their ongoing research. Tasks included preparation of sediment samples for carbon analyzation, preparing field assessment gear for water column data collection, harvesting water quality data from CTD Probes, and providing coding assistance with RStudio to process data.
