I have worked as an intern in various labs researching topics including genetics, developmental psychology, and chemical physics as well as on clinical research projects focused on metastatic breast cancer patients. I am published in the Journal of Psychosocial Oncology and just finished writing my Master's dissertation on female medical practitioners of the early Roman Empire.
I am currently finishing my Master's at Edinburgh which will be completed as of August
I worked on clinical research projects relating to breast cancer. Tasks included participant recruitment, interviews, paper write-up, qualitative coding, and others. The first project I worked on involved medication adherence in patients with comorbid diabetes and breast cancer and the next assessed distress in metastatic breast cancer patients and whether levels varied across racial and ethnic groups. Most recently I worked on the beginning stages of an intervention model to introduce navigators for increased support.
