  • Work Experience at The Centre for Social Justice
    Aug 2025 - Aug 2025 · 1 mo

I spent a week at the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) office in Westminster. The CSJ is a think tank that highlights and recommends policies that help the disadvantaged communities in our country. My main project was on how relevant conventional economic models (namely the Phillips Curve and Beveridge Curve) are in the current economic climate (with migration, welfare etc.) This research included reading and summarising economic reports, researching alternate models, analysing past Beveridge Curve data and drawing graphs to illustrate what happens to the economy in these conditions. I also learnt about Britain’s current economic situation. It involved reading CSJ reports on our most deprived communities, talking to experts who work there, analysing LFS data and comparing different demographics.
