Drive global IT projects - Architectural design of systems and solutions to fit seamless into the IT landscape - Leading and monitoring external providers for the implementation on our Microsoft Azure cloud environment - Finishing projects by ensuring successful handover to IT operations and external service providers - Continuous improvement of internal IT and business processes by automating with Microsoft PowerPlatform to reduce costs, delays, and complexity. Ensure IT Security - Primary contact for all IT security belongings from inside the company - Managing the technical onboarding of the external CDOC (Cyber Defense Operations Center) and defining processes to ensure - seamless integration to IT operations. - Continuous hardening of IT systems by performing regular security scans and penetration testing to find open vulnerabilities and close them. - Monitoring and participation in global projects to guarantee alignment with IT security standards. - Report the global security status of Schleich to the top management - Responsible for the IT Security incident & response management as part of the global ISMS team

Integration of production / MES systems into the IT landscape - Conceptualization and implementation of migration projects with the automation / MES department - Replacement of outdated isolated systems with integrated (Windows) systems - Enhancement of production visualization availability Terminal Server - Ensuring continuous availability of terminal servers (Citrix Apps & Desktop) - Maintenance of all components for the Citrix environment (Delivery Controller, PVS servers, etc.) Modernization of the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) installation: - Automated installation of operating systems and applications - Optimization of deployment time for new devices (Windows Server / Windows Clients) - Standardization of digital tools (server services like SMB shares, applications, operating systems) - Renewal of outdated systems
Managing the entire IT infrastructure: - Ensuring the availability of all provided services - Renewal and optimization of existing systems and processes - Coordination of external service providers (DE / USA) Planning and implementation of new technologies and tools: - Planning and execution of the modernization of the local network at the production site (Cisco Meraki, MPLS, WIFI, Windows Server) - Conceptualization and preparation of the migration of all servers and services to Microsoft Azure (Windows Server, Azure) - Planning and implementation of an enterprise-wide VPN solution with certificate authentication (MS RAS, RADIUS)
