I'm a third year Animation student at the University of South Wales, specialising in 2D and Stop Motion. I have a deep passion for storytelling and ones that are driven by characters. I enjoy developing ideas that would transform into interesting 2D animation stories. These are developed from initial sketches to final animations. During my years developing myself as an animator, I was inspired by the worlds that Laika developed, the heartfelt storytelling from Studio Ghibli, and the principles of animation that were developed during Disney's golden age. My passion for animation started when I went to after-school clubs run by the professional animation company Turnip Starfish during my years in high school. Then, I continued to develop my skills during my time attending college and right up to the present day, where I'm studying at a university to work on them further. I have experience with tools to create animations as well as ones used in industry, such as Adobe Animate, Premiere Pro, and Krita. I have knowledge of working digitally. I'm open to exploring new styles or refining my techniques to develop myself. Each project I work on I'm willing to learn and deeper my understanding as animator. In the process of building my portfolio, during my time at university, along with any person studies and personal projects, I work on in my free time. Also, to seek out opportunities to collaborate with creatives and learn from professionals who work in the industry. If you have any interest in talking about any internships, sharing insights about the animation world or creative partnerships, please do reach out! As I would love to share ideas, possibilities collaborating and sharing our passion for animation.
