After college I bought a house with two roommates. When I left, I told them if they found a 3rd roommate they could just stay. That is what started it!! Since then we have house hacked, renovated, and grown our portfolio. I use performance metrics with risk/return analysis to pick the best performing asset on the market. I balance my personal portfolio of single family homes, multifamily, and AirBNBs. Portfolio metrics like ROE, CoC, and IRR determine where to pull equity and how to reallocate it for maximum portfolio growth. With my model, I can run hypothetical scenarios to see what the 5 year outlook is for proposed changes. Balancing debt products, asset types, and solving unique problems is what keeps real estate exciting! Through lessons learned on my own dime, I now broker deals for investors who are looking to grow their own portfolio. We analyze their current portfolio, Investigate their strengths, establish their goals, and create a plan for how to make those goals come true.
