I have a background in terrestrial ecology and a Masters in Biosecurity and Conservation. My undergraduate degree was in Biological Sciences and Statistics, focusing on terrestrial animal behaviour. I graduated with a Masters in Biosecurity and Conservation at the University of Auckland in 2019, where I worked with the Gaskett lab. My project focused on the evolutionary biology of sexual deception in orchids and their pollinators, exploring what makes a perfect pollinator for a sexually deceptive orchid. My hobbies include reading, baking, and a keen interest in classical and contemporary dance.
