• Spearheaded the development lifecycle for 12 safety improvement devices by gathering technical requirements, designing, testing, problem solving, and producing the final product • Performed FEA, GD&T, and DFM to create engineering drawings for CAD sub-assemblies to pass design reviews, manage project timelines, and compare cost estimates to send to vendors for machining • Managed a $10,000 CapEx budget in order to reduce production machine downtime by 83% • Designed a fluid system using pneumatic cylinders to automate the deployment of quality testing strips • Created a database for the documentation of over 200 parts used to track and source new parts from vendors • Prepared project planning, reports, and presentations for continuous improvement and safety projects
