Lexington, Kentucky, United States
Marketing and Communications professional with 7+ years of experience building, growing, and representing purpose-driven brands — including Kentucky Proud, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass, ExecuTrain USA, the Miss America Organization, the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, and currently, Faithful Platform Engagement Rings & Fine Jewelry. I recently earned my MBA in Marketing and Leadership from Northern Kentucky University with a 4.0 GPA — completed while working full-time — to deepen my expertise in brand strategy, business leadership, and impactful communication. This next chapter of my career is rooted in a desire to not only build great brands, but ones that connect deeply with people. My journey started at the University of Kentucky, where I studied Business Management, International Business, and Social Enterprise. Beyond the classroom, I interned at Zipie Advertising, founded and led a nonprofit arts-education organization, and held an early marketing role at ExecuTrain. I studied social impact enterprise in Cape Town, South Africa, where I served as a business development consultant and volunteered as a tutor for elementary school students. Later, I continued my global exploration with a study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I strengthened my Spanish and deepened my love for cross-cultural learning. After graduation, I was honored to serve as Miss Kentucky 2019—and again in 2020, becoming the longest-reigning Miss Kentucky in history. In that role, I served as the official spokesperson for the Kentucky Proud program through the Department of Agriculture. I spent my time traveling the state to advocate for local producers, speak in schools, support charitable causes, and represent the mission of both Kentucky Proud and the Miss America Organization. I’m passionate about people, storytelling, and adventure—and I’m driven by the belief that meaningful brands are built through empathy, excellence, and purpose. I hope to keep using my skills to make an impact in Kentucky and beyond.
