Research on: - High performance motion control systems - Automatic control systems for autonomous marine vehicles (surface and underwater) - Arranged a workshop "Performance of Nonlinear Control Systems" at European Control Conference, Budapest, 2009. Teaching: - Undergraduate course "Nonlinear control systems", - Graduate course "Nonlinear observers" - Supervision of PhD and MSc students
Research: - Automatic control system for autonomous marine vehicles (both surface and underwater) - path following, cooperative control, formation control, synchronization.
Research: - Research project on Output regulation of nonlinear systems. Developed a novel approach on controller design and analysis for the output regulation problem. - The PhD thesis was published as a book "Uniform output regulation: a convergent dynamics approach", Birkhäuser, 2005. It is used as a textbook in MSc course “Performance of nonlinear control systems” at Eindhoven University of Technology.
