I’m a safety leader focused on building practical, people-centered systems that make workplaces safer every day. In my role as a Safety Director, I work closely with operations leaders and frontline teams to strengthen safety programs, improve communication, and build cultures where people feel confident speaking up about risk. Over the years, I’ve seen that real safety improvement comes from more than policies and checklists — it comes from leadership habits, daily behaviors, and clear systems that support safe decisions in the moment. I’m also the founder of Horizon Safety LLC, where I help organizations establish strong, OSHA-aligned safety foundations and then move beyond compliance with proactive safety systems built on culture, behavior, and leading indicators. My approach focuses on practical solutions that fit real operations and support long-term improvement. My areas of focus include: • Safety program development and compliance foundations • Behavior-based safety and frontline engagement • Leadership communication and coaching • Risk assessment and hazard recognition • Leading indicators and safety performance systems I’m passionate about helping teams build safety forward — creating workplaces where safety is part of how work gets done, not just a requirement to manage.
