Alex2.0 (mum): Corporate consulting and regulation (WA’s first female District Inspector of Mines). COO (AI startup), Chief Advisor & Principal Engineer in quality mining, sustainability & innovation consultancies. Big Four experience at Deloitte after obtaining an MBA(Finance). Mining risk governance consultancy owner since 2017. 10+ years of Non-executive Director experience incl. 7.5 years ASX-listed companies (i.e. ASX200, IPO). Alex3.0: Incubating via PhD. Developing a cross-interface (vertical & horizontal) critical controls effectiveness assurance model commercial proof of concept. Theoretical Frameworks: Risk Governance & Systems Thinking. Goal: to systemically lift technical & operational critical risk - via critical control effectiveness assurance - to boards, translated into “commercial language”. It’s currently a gap in generic (commercially led) governance frameworks.
