Would you be in danger if grief became a crime? That’s the question at the center of my debut novel, The Frequency of Her Skin, a sci-fi thriller set in 2051, where a corporation has commodified emotional regulation and a Black teenage girl discovers the erasure was never accidental. Her grief carries a frequency. Her touch makes people remember. And the most powerful company in America is hunting her for it. I wrote this book from the inside, as creator of AI products and former attorney who understands how important it is to create technology that considers all users. I wrote it while grieving. I wrote it because the question felt impossible to ignore. Currently querying literary agents. Parable of the Sower meets Black Mirror, from a Black woman inside Big Tech.
I drive the integration of Universal Product Development (UPD) into Google’s product development and design lifecycle. I am responsible for leading engagement with Product Area (PA) teams & leaders, embedding UPD into product roadmaps and ensuring UPD is prioritized in annual planning. I collaborate with cross-functional partners and leverage data and insights to foster a cohesive vision with PAs.
I transform work culture! I am typically hired after there has been some cultural clash in an organization. With my background in Employment Law and strategic, empathetic leadership, I am uniquely equipped to support an organization in the creation of its best possible state. I offer trainings, alignment analysis, coaching, strategic planning, and more. Independent surveys show that my work has made some of the most toxic work environments safe and inclusive spaces where underrepresented employees feel they can bring their “whole selves” and desire to grow their careers.

Contributed greatly to record-breaking youth turnout in Presidential Election of 2020 and the subsequent Georgia Runoff.
