I am an educator with 4 years of classroom teaching experience connecting children and adults with the outdoors in a variety of ways, including advocacy, education, and engagement. Some of my prior specialized projects have included: - Leading outdoor education groups; - Designing a class and enrichment activity focused on environmental issues; - Writing an original, full-year interdisciplinary curriculum of place-based outdoor lessons; - Creating and modeling a wide swath of educational activities designed to get kids exploring their world; and - Extensive research on human-nature connections in many settings.
