Supporting AWS customers in their cloud migration journey in order to transform their operations and take full benefit of cloud technology. Main activities with our customers (Enterprise segment) - Design, build and implement cloud operating models (DevSecOps, CCoE) and Ops roles (SRE) - Transform ITIL processes (Agile, You build it, You Run it) - Set up cloud operational framework to support operational excellence (observability, business continuity, reliability, security by design, chaos engineering, cost optimization) - Assist CxO with cloud adoption across the overall organization
My team : I lead 12 system admins. I realize team management activities (planning, organization, objectives, training program, team building and recruitment), coordinate internal projects, produce and follow dashboards and KPI (capacity planning, workload) and ensure high user satisfaction. Our activity : L2&L3 Linux and Windows support (round the clock) : Incident and problem management following ITIL processes with guaranteed SLAs for our users. My team is in charge of the day to day quality of the production Linux and Windows servers in On Premise DC, private cloud (OVH) and public cloud (AWS). We realize preventive and correctives action plans with planned patches operations, hardware upgrades, and performance tuning or resources optimization. We also contribute to the main automation of system operations (provisionning, collect and centralize system logs, system configuration changes). Our technical environment : Linux RedHat and CentOS 5 to 7, Windows Server 2008 to 2012, VMWare ESX 5 and 6. Private and public cloud (OVH and AWS). Proxy and reverse proxy (Apache, Squid). Ansible, Puppet.
My team : I lead 9 system engineers and 5 system admins. Our activity : L2&L3 UNIX, SAN and storage support (round the clock) : Incident and problem management following ITIL processes with guaranteed SLAs for our users. My team is in charge of the day to day quality of the production unix servers, SAN switches and storage arrays. We realize preventive and correctives action plans with planned patches operations, hardware upgrades, and performance tuning or resources optimization. We are responsible for software and hardware maintenance contracts (HP, EMC): defining, collecting and monitoring their KPIs. UNIX, SAN and storage infrastructure engineering. We are responsible for the IaaS definition and implementation. We define the detailed specifications including technical requirements and usage limitations. We build Deployment & Change Automation in order to deliver computing capacity to our users with minimum delay. I also directly manage our offshore service center which realizes non automated L2 changes according to our procedures. We accomplish IT transformation programs (physical and virtual relocatation, virtualization, private cloud). Our technical environment : Solaris 8 to 11, RedHat 5 to 7, HPUX, AIX 5 to 7, EMC, NetAPP, HP 3PAR, HP P9K, Brocade, CISCO, VMWare ESX 4 and 5, LDOM Solaris, IVM HP-UX. 3500 servers (physical&virtual) and 4Po on SAN storage arrays.
