Greater Melbourne Area
I am passionate about exploring and learning new things in all areas of knowledge, but I have a particular interest in wildlife and the environment. I share this passion with people through my work as a Wild Encounters Ranger and Visitor Engagement Officer (in animal encounters) at Healesville Sanctuary. I have completed a Science Degree with Honours where I majored in Zoology and Ecology and Conservation Biology and minored in Earth Science. My H1 Honours Thesis is titled 'Trait Comparison of Native and Alien Plants: A Key to Invasion Impact'.
My responsibilities included, animal attending (motoring behaviour, controlling many dogs at once, care, and play), dog photography, reception duties, customer service, dog washing (and blow-drying), and cleaning of the facility.
I ran my own candle business, selling both from shops and online.
I ran a weekly art class for homeschool students.
As a draftperson my role included preparing cadastral and surveying plans using Computer Assisted Drawing (CAD) technology.
