Alexandra Iskindir is an Ethiopian/Eritrean American entertainment professional born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2016, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Film & Digital Media minor from UC Santa Cruz. By Fall 2017, she was living in Los Angeles pursuing her career in entertainment. Alexandra’s work experience varies. While working at a demanding, fast paced start-up production company, she gained operations, project management, and negotiation skills while sharpening her abilities in sales, leadership, and management. In TV and Film production offices, she went beyond her typical duties with a friendly attitude that was felt throughout the team. Currently, she has stepped up to a Coordinator role at a studio - supporting her SVPs/VPs and managing multiple shows in different stages of production. Alexandra is always searching for learning opportunities within the entertainment industry. She is a member of a handful of organizations that provide resources for young people of color entering the business, including Ghetto Film School Roster where she was able to attend NBCU's Global Talent Development & Inclusion program in 2019 and 2020, in addition to being accepted into the Disney TV PA Program 2020-2021. In 2025 she was accepted into the CBS Leadership Pipeline Challenge as a Director, a program designed for early career storytellers looking to make an impact on their community by creating a short film for a Los Angeles based non-profit. For entertainment professionals committed to creating visionary work, Alexandra Iskindir is a curious, personable, and meticulous team player that adds incredible value to any production. She hopes to expand her career beyond television and film, such as music/music videos, festivals, working abroad, and other creative projects.
