LSE Cities · University College London, U. of London
I am an urban researcher and socio-spatial data analyst at LSE Cities. My career crosses academic research, public service, and consultancy. Driven by a transdisciplinary focus, I explore socio-spatial inequalities in health, mobility, urban form, placemaking, and sensory environments, often employing mixed methods supported by GIS mapping and other visual tools. I have led and coordinated international research in Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Gulf, and created visual and artistic outputs for impact and public engagement — including the #Kuwaitscapes card game, #Kuwaitscapes.com participatory tool, and the #AbuDhabiDisconnected exhibitions, aiming to influence policy and behaviour change. I have been teaching at UCL and LSE, guiding students in both theory and studio projects. I am interested in translating research into impactful tools and to explore how AI and emerging technologies can help address urban challenges.
