I am an aspiring healthcare professional currently preparing to begin my undergraduate studies at Iona University this fall, where I will be majoring in Nursing. I am passionate about patient care and committed to making a meaningful impact in the medical field. Through a recent internship in a radiology department, I had the opportunity to shadow experienced professionals, observe diagnostic procedures, and engage directly with patients. This hands-on experience helped me develop strong communication skills, deepen my understanding of clinical environments, and solidify my passion for nursing. One of my proudest achievements during the internship was earning the trust of staff and being entrusted with increased responsibility, which allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. In addition to my academic and clinical pursuits, I currently work at Playa Bowls, where I’ve developed valuable customer service, teamwork, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Balancing work and education has strengthened my sense of discipline and adaptability—qualities I carry with me into every opportunity.I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and building a career focused on compassion, care, and service.
