Intercalating clinical medical student reading for an MB DPhil with a focus in genetics and carpal tunnel syndrome. My research interests include big data, genetics, hand surgery, and drug repurposing. College Sciences Scholar at St Catherine's College, Oxford. In this role I oversaw the training and development of the women's squad as we attempted to win the prestigious Head of the River position. This involved coordinating training outings, liaising with our coaching team, and entering our crews for various competitions throughout the year.
My role as head of media, communications and outreach for Oxford Plastics, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Society (OxPRAS) involves keeping members up to date about events, managing social media accounts and maintaining connections with similar societies at other medical schools.
Osler House Boat Club is a rowing team made up of clinical medical students at Oxford University. In my role as president I manage a committee who oversee the running of the club, including team selection, budgeting for events and running costs, and training plans. I also train with the club as a rower - I have been selected for the women's first crew and successfully won blades racing with them in March 2022.
My role as Social Rep is to organise both professional networking events and social events for the Pharmacology Society. I also help other members of the committee organise talks by guest speakers and publicise our events.
Working as part of Paul Matthews' lab in the UK Dementia Research Institute at Imperial College London, learning techniques such as immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and imaging mass cytometry in order to analyse different markers involved in Alzheimer's disease.
