Responsible for collating investment reports for clients on various services including DIS (Discretionary Investment Service), Interim (Middle service) and PMS (Portfolio Managed Service). The role heavily involved investigating client investment portfolios according to current markets, obtaining information that showed portfolio growth in the interval since the previous report, and recommending fund switches or a portfolio restructure, based on our company models. This information was compiled into individual reports and sent out to the relevant clients for the purpose of assisting them in choosing the best portfolio restructures that would provide the most promising financial return on their investments. Each report that we worked upon was bespoke to the individual client and took into consideration several factors such as their different holdings, attitude to risk and personal circumstances. Reports also included market commentaries with the most up to date information and these were consistently checked for correct format, data and grammar.
I tracked both stock availability and stock loss, feeding this back to management on a daily basis to tackle issues and maintain improvements. Communication between all levels of the business was a huge part of this role. I also had a shop floor, customer involved presence, but mainly tackled the issue of stock loss by tracking and recording figures against the company provisional margins.
