Paducah, Kentucky, United States
As Project Director for Murray State University's $1.5M Department of Energy grant, my mission is to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders for the revitalization of the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion site (environmental cleanup, beneficial reuse, public outreach). Proudly hired through the Office of the Provost, I am grateful for the mentorship of Dr. Renee Fister and Dr. Tim Todd. A significant highlight is our recently published student ASER summary, showcasing impactful student contributions to the DOE grant. With 30+ years in public relations and degrees from Murray State (BS & MS in Organizational Communication, plus adjunct faculty experience), I contribute to strategies enhancing workforce development, education, and STEM engagement, driving positive change for our community and students. Born in Morocco, North Africa, I became an American citizen on June 16, 2006.
