At Bloom Gallery Flowers, a woman-owned floral startup in San Francisco, I began my journey as a Marketing and Brand Specialist, leveraging my expertise to enhance the company's brand presence and visibility. I expanded my expertise by working on digital marketing, including web site (WooCommerce) and SEO initiatives, refining our online presence to drive engagement and visibility. With time I honed my sales skills by orchestrating floral arrangements for numerous corporate events as well as weddings.
I collaborated with a creative startup team "ToGoBoat", who invented an e-boat and started their entry into the Californian market. I crafted a robust brand strategy and presented a comprehensive 360 approach to marketing and sales.
After relocating to Anchorage, Alaska to support my husband's service in the army forces, I took a career break to focus on personal growth through studies, travel and exploring new opportunities and studies. I enjoyed my florist classes, as well as studying Digital Marketing and Six Sigma.
Responsible for brand management and marketing strategy for the European portfolio of the luxury brands (the Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis and The Luxury Collection (until November 2018). Work closely with the respective global brand teams to pull-through the Global strategy in the Continent, as well as the Operations teams to ensure on-brand execution in the hotels. Manage the continent brand budgets and drive brand preference through effective brand activation, halo events, brand partnerships, media planning and digital campaigns. Educate teams (including the hotel teams) on brandvoice, strategic pillars and consumer insights. Implementing new marketing and management programs in the market. In partnership with the marketing team develop hotel opening strategies: working on countdown for the new hotels, marketing plans, opening events as well as provide day-to-day assistance. Key openings include: The Ritz-Carlton de la Paix, Geneva; The Jaffa, a Luxury Collection Hotel; The St. Regis Rome and the St. Regis Venice.
In my role as Field Marketing Manager, Europe I oversee 50+ managed and franchised hotels across premium and select service brands, including JW Marriott, Marriott and Renaissance. Working hand in hand with area and franchise teams, I support new and established properties to construct and execute integrated marketing plans to achieve revenue goals. I played a key role in launching marriott.com.ru in Russian language, working closely with the e-commerce team in US and hotels in Europe. A big win was to establish a booking path in Russian language. This successful project brought 260% more in revenue than white label site in the first 4 months. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Marriott Rewards loyalty programme, as well as partnerships, sales and revenue teams, executing Europe-wide promotions.
As a PR & Marketing Manager I became a valuable contributor to the pre-opening team of the JW Marriott property, pulling through the new brandvoice and establishing marketing plans and efficient social media strategy to position a hotel in a local market. I played a key role in relaunching of 3 restaurants after renovation. Working together with the operations team, I organized a grand-opening party for 600+ customers, including VIP guests and international press.
