My fascination with advertising, media, and creativity has been lifelong, leading me to pursue a career in media with a Communications degree from DCU. Over the past 7+ years, I’ve built versatile experience in media buying, strategic account management, and marketing across diverse industries. I specialise in cultivating high-value client relationships, leveraging data for project optimisation, and applying creative thinking to drive measurable business growth. I’m all about turning challenges into creative, smart and actionable strategies!
During my time at OMD, I have worked across different positions account management positions, providing me with a deep, practical understanding of both agency processes and essential client requirements. This extensive background ensures I can efficiently manage complex, cross-collaborative projects with multiple external agencies, media owners, and suppliers. My primary role is the end-to-end execution of high-value client campaigns involving collaboration with clients and different stakeholders, with high organisation and time management. This dedicated focus on operational excellence and client performance has directly contributed to award-winning work, including Irish Media Awards and Digital Media Awards.
As the Marketing Executive, I led the organisational communications efforts, gaining hands-on experience in direct B2B support and event management. I was responsible for developing and executing tailored marketing resources, courses, and networking events designed to support both large and small companies across the region. I played a versatile role leading the organisation’s communications and member support. I gained essential hands-on experience in several key digital areas, including the use of CRM systems for member management, website development oversight, and email marketing through regular newsletter writing. Furthermore, I managed content creation using Canva and was responsible for the editing and production of the Chamber's magazine. This role significantly advanced my expertise in building external partnerships and creating promotional materials to drive member engagement and awareness.
As a Media Executive, I gained my essential working knowledge of the Irish media and advertising landscape, rapidly learning the technical and strategic fundamentals of the industry. I assisted with the management of lead client accounts, giving me extensive hands-on experience with implementing and tracking a high volume of campaigns across radio, TV, print, OOH, and digital channels. I was responsible for creating essential campaign evaluation documents and post-campaign analysis reports to measure results, understand performance, and inform future media strategies.
In this position I worked with a small events team on the organisation and production of large scale awards shows for a range of industries including Media, Print, and Hospitality from the start of the process to the final day of the event. In the run up to events I had experience in creating e-zines and presentations, publishing social media content, updating websites for each event on Wordpress, writing and proof-reading scripts.
I really enjoyed my time working as part of the front office team in this 4 star luxury hotel. In my position as front office receptionist I had the opportunity to greet a large number of guests from around the world in a warm and welcoming manner. In this position I was constantly committed to providing a high standard of customer service and hospitality, something that has stuck with me in every position I have held. A large amount of organisation was required with this role too with the administration of reservations and bookings through Oracle's PMS.
