Under the Amgen Scholars Program, I undertook a summer research project under the supervision of PD Dr Lars Kunz at Ludwig-Maximillians Universität Munich. The project focused on utilising NADH/FAD autofluorescence as a measure of basal neuronal metabolism in auditory nuclei of the brainstem.
