Provides support to the Human Resource Department on all HR matters including, but not limited to, on-boarding, policies and procedures, personnel records, employee relations, ADP, Kronos, EEO, OSHA administration, benefits administration and employment law. Responds to routine inquires by employees regarding issues such as change of address, direct deposit, benefits, uniforms, etc., and inputs and processes new, current and terminated employee changes/updates in ADP, providing necessary documentation to payroll. Coordinates on-boarding process including new hire paperwork, new hire orientation, I-9, etc., maintains up-to-date employee personnel files including retention within company record retention requirements, maintains plant/office bulletin boards in an up-to-date and legal compliance manner. Facilitates benefit enrollment forms during open enrollment period, initial enrollment, and qualifying events as related to the employee benefits program. Inputs all changes/updates in both the provider portals and ADP. Assists VP of Administration with various research projects and/or special projects, reviews and updates job descriptions as needed, gathers data and completes wage and salary, benefit and other human resource related surveys, and assists with the recruitment process (i.e., phone screens, reference checks, etc.).
