What do I currently do? Hmm.... I can tell you I was building out environments in the Oracle Cloud, for ONE Network Enterprises with Terraform while expanding monitoring for both of their on-prem and cloud infrastructure. Further back would be Lead DevOps Support for EVA during the Mosaic era of SouthWest Airlines migration of their fleet maintenance into a modern software suite. Oh, I also managed the QA infrastructure at Tripleseat Software.
• Utilizing Terraform for Amazon Web Services • Linux OS vulnerability scanning and remediation • Building Ansible Playbooks for configuring AWS infrastructure • Designing AWS console automation to close off SSH access to the outside world • Creating Docker containers for seamless deployment of our application in any environment • Took ownership of QA and redesigned our infrastructure to help secure components of the network --- Designed every QA environment, to have their own VPC, and utilize one shared bastion host • Designing Ruby applications that find old database snapshots --- Throws Slack alerts to help the team with cost savings
