Hand-picked by Professor Edward Chazen from a pool of 280+ students to participate in a competitive, semester-long real estate development project in partnership with a leading Boston company. I was appointed Team Leader of a six-member group, where I coordinated site visits, client meetings, and deliverables across a five-month timeline. My primary responsibilities included directing the visual design and renderings of the proposed development, creating presentations that illustrated building concepts, site layout, and integration with the surrounding neighborhood. I also conducted financial and market research, analyzing local businesses and demographic data to identify viable tenants and unmet community needs. In addition, I performed traffic and access analysis to evaluate the logistical feasibility of the site and oversaw budget considerations to ensure the proposal remained financially realistic while maintaining ambition. At the conclusion of the project, I delivered and defended the final plan directly to company executives, walking them through the renderings, financials, and overall strategy. The presentation was met with strong positive feedback for its clarity, feasibility, and professionalism. Through this experience, I strengthened my skills in leadership, analytics, market evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration while applying economic and finance concepts to a real-world setting.
