I manage the global social media presence of Nisbets, utilising all the social channels available and working with teams across the globe to help implement and structure their social strategy. My own main focus is the UK and the priority is to define where our target market and key influencers are and to then structure our engagement plan to this specific audience to help push brand awareness. Utilising white hat SEO techniques I am heavily involved in the production of content to help improve rankings and organic search, as well as being an active member of the CRM team to help improve the customer experience, and the internal processes to make that happen. Another key function of my role is setting up a network of affiliates globally, managing the process and product feeds across numerous countries. I have worked with Commission Junction, DGM, TradeDoubler and Affiliate Window globally, helping to raise our profile and sales in this channel, and defining the future strategy for the company. I worked for an award winning online travel agency as part of the Marketing Communications team. I was heavily involved in developing the digital strategy, working with the marketing manager to help with marketing campaigns, digital/social media campaigns as well as providing editorial content for the website and making sure all written work was to the highest possible standard. I worked with external agencies to help create the campaign website specifically for the 10th anniversary campaign, making sure it adhered to best practice and functionality. Further developed the digital presence utilising web tools and the latest technologies available to make sure the company was at the forefront of the digital world, helping to increase site traffic and business. I was also responsible for writing feature articles to further help increase brand awareness through third parties. As part of the anniversary campaign we liaised with web designers to create the competition website, which has generated massive success for the company, increasing Facebook followers by 15,000 in the period of 2 months and increasing Twitter followers by nearly 3000 in the same period:
