I advise banks, debt funds, issuers, IPPs, sponsors and borrowers on project finance transactions, joint ventures and other strategic funding arrangements or investments in the renewable energy and infrastructure (incl. digital) space. I specialise in, and advise regularly on, national and international project financings of onshore and offshore windfarms and photovoltaic power plants and power stations. As of spring 2019, I am a Visiting Lecturer for Project Finance at King's College Online LL.M. Programme. Here is a representative selection of some of the transactions I have worked on: ■ Advised a consortium of French, Spanish and German issuers on a EUR 110m issue of secured junior bonds. ■ Advised a consortium of debt funds on the EUR 51m mezzanine debt financing of a portfolio of wind farms in Poland. ■ Advised an international consortium of banks on the project financing of an offshore wind farm with a total investment volume of approximately EUR 1.2 billion. ■ Advised an international consortium of banks on the EUR 695 million project financing of an offshore wind farm. ■ Advised an international consortium of banks on the approximately EUR 1.1 billion project financing of an offshore wind farm with ECA cover being provided by EKF. ■ Advised an international consortium of banks on the project financing of an offshore wind farm, including on the refinancing by way of a project bond. ■ Advised a consortium of international banks on the € 91.3 million project financing of an onshore wind farm in Lithuania with ECA cover being provided by Euler Hermes. ■ Advised the lender on the €80.6 million project financing of two wind farm projects in Finland. ■ Advised the lender on the €65 million project financing of the two French onshore wind farms. ■ Advised the lender on the project financing of a portfolio of French solar projects with an aggregate volume of approximately €112 million. ■ Advised the lender on the €64.5m long-term project financing of a solar park in Denmark.
I specialise in advising banks, alternative debt funds, institutional investors and sponsors on project finance transactions and joint ventures with a particular focus on renewable energy and infrastructure projects. I regularly advise on offshore and onshore wind and solar transactions.
I was a senior associate in the firm’s Banking & Finance Group, focusing on acquisition finance and project finance transactions with a particular focus on renewable energy projects, advising on a number of high volume offshore wind debt financings in the German North Sea.
I was seconded to the Global Restructuring Group of the The Royal Bank of Scotland in Frankfurt, Germany for ten months in 2010. I was supporting the market side in the complex restructuring of its real estate loan portfolio.
As an associate in the debt capital markets of CC Frankfurt, I focused on structured finance transactions, in particular asset-backed securitisations and complex restructurings of structured finance transactions, in particular real estate finance transactions. I was also seconded for 10 months to the Global Restructuring Group of The Royal Bank of Scotland in Frankfurt, Germany where I worked on the restructuring of (non-performing and performing, securitised and not securitised) real estate loans.
