From a decade long career in the hospitality industry, leading varied teams in restaurants, events and hotels, to a master's degree in Computer Science. I now work as a producer for the tabletop game company Factory Fortress Inc. Work includes overseeing several different departments team work on products and brand consistency.
Assisting the lecturers for the following courses Introduction to IT Introduction to AI Human Centered Design Databases Algorithms Introduction to Programming Research Methodology for IT The work consists of helping the students with their assignments, explaining various concepts and ideas, developing the learning environment, for example automating grading and exercises and grading assignments.
Over the course of the internship I helped run the courses Intro to IT, Intro to AI and programming 1. I also developed new automated SQL tests for the course on Databases using CodeGrade and a new research assignment for the course on Research Methodology in IT.
During the summer I worked with summer students on the courses Programmering 1 (a beginner's course to coding using Python to teach coding and various concepts) and Introduction to AI (a beginner's course to AI that explain various concepts and how AI works). I also worked on the NAO robot, programming it to help assist seniors in work out routines, this was done in Python 2.7 which provided an interesting challenge.
Creative Director of a free digital magazine focusing on various games and art styles. I organize a team of volunteers to regularly publish a 200 page magazine, the work involves everything from handling contributors, public relations and financial responsibility to publishing.
Categorizing responses to the ICILS 2023 study
The responsibilities included leading our team in the daily operations, working closely with the sales department and customer contacts to ensure top guest satisfaction and also developing the F&B department to make it even more successful.
