About

The most interesting problems in medicine live at the intersection of clinical expertise and computational thinking - where neither field alone has the answer. I'm a fourth-year medical student at UCL with a background in Mathematics and Computer Science (First Class Honours). My research at Moorfields Eye Hospital applied semi-supervised machine learning to corneal imaging, sharpening a diagnostic boundary in subclinical keratoconus that clinical consensus alone hadn't resolved. I've contributed to 10+ publications and conference presentations, including work in Ophthalmology Science and Translational Vision Science & Technology. At 18, before focusing on medicine and research, I founded Medfully - a medical education platform that grew to 5,000+ students worldwide. The translation problem is what drives me most: not the algorithm, but the hard work of getting from benchmark to bedside. Open to collaborations, conversations, and projects worth being curious about.

Experience

  • Researcher at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London
    May 2024 - Sep 2025 · 1 yr 5 mos

    - Conducted dissertation research at the Pontikos Lab, Moorfields Eye Hospital, under the supervision of Dr Lynn Kandakji and Assoc. Prof. Nikolas Pontikos - Applied semi-supervised clustering to multidimensional corneal biomarkers derived from MS-39 AS-OCT imaging to advance the definition and diagnosis of subclinical keratoconus

  • Associate Researcher at UCL Cancer Institute
    Jun 2023 - Jul 2023 · 2 mos

    - Awarded the competitive Rani Rawji Studentship to conduct summer research at the UCL Cancer Institute - Worked under Prof. Adrienne Flanagan applying image classification to analyse immune cell infiltration patterns in osteosarcoma biopsies - Findings presented as a poster at PathSoc Winter Meeting

  • Founder at Medfully
    2020 - 2022 · 2 yrs

    - Solo-founded and bootstrapped a SaaS medical interview preparation platform, scaling to 5,000+ users across 15+ countries - Owned the full stack - product development, content creation, operations, and monetisation strategy - 93% of users received at least one medical school offer following interview preparation, compared to a mean acceptance rate of 25% - Scaled organically and exited in 2022 to pursue medicine and research full-time at UCL
